Mentor, International Sign
I have been a professional American Sign Language Interpreter for over 25 years. I have a BA in Deaf Studies, with a specialisation in Interpreting, and an MA in Interpreting from the European MA in Sign Language Interpreting (EUMASLI) programme. Since 2018, I have been a staff ASL/English interpreter at Overseas Interpreting.
Throughout my career I have worked in numerous settings, including education, medical, mental health, business, government, legal, and performing arts. I have also worked with Deaf Interpreters in a variety of settings, including conference, legal, and performing arts settings. In addition to interpreting, I have been a mentor for students and colleagues for over 20 years.
I am currently studying BSL, and considering a future BSL qualification.
