Omoyele Thomas completed the BA Hons in Interpreting BSL/English in 2002 at Wolverhampton University and has over 18 years experience as an interpreter. She has worked within the community in a variety of settings as well as some specialist settings such as Mental Health, Courts, Police and so on. She now currently works mostly within social care, mental health and the performance realm. Due to recent circumstances, she now works mostly remotely from home.

Through Omoyele's varied experiences in different domains, she felt there was a lack of professional support for her and other interpreters working with no time or space to reflect or offload. She embarked on a journey to facilitate the much needed support and qualified in November 2015 as a Professional Supervisor. She has been working as a Professional Supervisor for over 5 years now supervising Interpreters and other Professionals.
