I am a Registered Sign Language Interpreter based in London; qualified in 2011 and became freelance in 2012. I work in the community, in employment settings, medical, education settings, training courses, conferences, festivals and Christian settings. I also have Deafblind manual and hands on experience.
I enjoy working in face to face settings but also work remotely, with a plain blue background and have experience of working on Zoom, Skype, MS Teams and Google platforms.
As an active member of Association of Sign Language Interpreters (ASLI), National Union of British Sign Language Interpreters (NUBSLI) and registered with National Register of Communication Professionals working with Deaf and Deafblind People (NRCPD), I try my best not to get lost in acronyms by socialising, networking, having fun and spending time enjoying meals and cake with friends and family.
