Membership
Our membership is open to qualified and trainee sign language interpreters and translators (deaf and hearing) who identify as a person of colour. Membership is open to sign language interpreters and translators from across Europe.
We are a large group from diverse backgrounds, including a large number of people who identify as mixed heritage, which is what makes us unique and strong.
Our ethos as an organisation is to create and maintain a safe space for people who may have experienced life as the ‘other’, a member of an ethnic minority in a Western, White society, or as a product of the legacy of colonialism, slavery and race politics.

Please see our Membership Policy for more information.
